1962: EJL appointed to teach at Andhra Theological College (students from CSI & - then -continuing Anglican dioceses) - at Dornakal, in shadow of the Cathedral of the Epiphany, built 1914-39 by Bp V.S.Azariah. In 1964, joining with Lutherans & Baptists (plus some Brethren, American Methodist & Mennonite) new united college formed at Rajamundry on River Godavari. EJL taught Religions of India and History of Worship, with some NT Greek (also pastoral charge in Maredumilli Hill-forest area 50 miles north). In 1973 this Telugu College moved to Hyderabad, adding degree classes in English.
