Marriage (1959)
For both EJL & Chris, marriage led to unexpected adventures. Chris had been Senior Student ('President'?) at Southlands College, then taught a yr at Roehampton.
Soon after marriage, after 'Rolling Off' ceremony at Richmond (earlier missionary tradition there), with no preparation, sailed for 30 yrs in India. Chris' maternal Grandparents were Pillings; Paternal Gndma was an Adlington (Gt-uncle was Revd Arthur Adlington) from N Derbyshire & N Notts.
